What can I do as a volunteer? 

Visit PSGSL.org to see volunteer opportunities based on duties, dates and times.  This is where you can sign up too! 

Can I sign up for more than one shift? 

Yes!  You may sign up for more than one shift. 

Do volunteers have to pay admission to Big League Dreams? 

No, volunteers will not have to pay the $6 admission fee to BLD as long as you are wearing your NAGAAA Cup volunteer shirt upon entry. 

Can non-league members volunteer? 

Yes!  Volunteers do not have to be members of PSGSL.  They are encouraged to visit PSGSL.org to sign up there too.  They will be asked to create a user name and password for the site.  This will streamline communication to all volunteers by having their information in our database.  Non-league members can also email their interest to: info@psgsl.org 

What is NAGAAA Cup?

NAGAAA Cup is an annual tournament for Open A and B divisions.  Originally scheduled in 2020 in Palm Springs, NAGAAA Cup was rescheduled due to COVID-19.  There are 20-softball teams coming to Palm Springs from around the US to play in this annual tournament. 

NAGAAA (North America Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance) is the parent organization to 46-member softball leagues in North America.  NAGAAA is the organizer and owner of the annual Gay Softball World Series. 

Why NAGAAA Cup? 

As Open A division teams are elite in North America, NAGAAA Cup affords the best softball players to compete against similarly skilled players and teams in a tournament format.  Each team that competes will be credited with four (4) games towards player eligibility for Gay Softball World Series (GSWS). 

Participants at NAGAAA Cup 2021 represent some of the best gay softball players in North America and we are honored to have been select to host this tournament. Teams that win NAGAAA Cup will receive an automatic berth to this year’s GSWS in Columbus Ohio. 

Which local team will participate in NAGAAA Cup 2021? 

Palm Springs Rounders 2.0  

PS Rounders 2.0 has won NAGAAA Cup’s Open A division in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

Why should I volunteer?  What’s in it for me? 

You may meet a cute, really good softball player!  If that is not of interest, you would really be assisting PSGSL as we host this national event in our beloved city.   

PSGSL is a volunteer organization and it takes dedicated volunteers for our league and tournaments to be successful.  Volunteers will also receive a commemorative NAGAAA Cup 2020 bright yellow tee shirt!  Please join us as we host NAGAAA Cup 2021, May 27th-30th
