Contour Dermatology

Contour Dermatology is one of the longest continuous supporters of the PSGSL, helping the league achieve some of its highest goals since 2013.  Not once in almost a decade has this sponsor ever said “No” to anything the PSGSL has asked, be it financial assistance or donating products and services for a raffle or league fundraiser.  Their contributions total in the thousands, most recently giving the League $2500 for the 2021 NAGAA Cup and $1,000 for the Breakfast with Santa event held at Christmas.   

Contour Dermatology’s support of the PSGSL has also directly enabled the League to secure support from other local businesses and organizations over the years.  Last year alone, the League received over $15K in contributions from local organizations like Porsche Palm Springs, PS Resorts and the Greater Palm Spring CVB.  Contour Dermatology has also sponsored a PSGSL team every season since 2013, even after owner Lee Erwin “retired” from softball, so that Palm Springs and the PSGSL – not just their team – has visibility nationwide in the world of LGBT softball.

What makes Contour Dermatology unique and worthy of induction into the PSGSL Hall Of Fame is why they support the League.  They don’t expect players to come in every Sunday after their games for a treatment or consultation. Contour Dermatology supports the PSGSL because we are a gay softball league that is dedicated to promoting amateur athletics for our LGBTQ community.  They do it because they know that if it wasn’t for the PSGSL, our LGBT members might never have the opportunity to experience the friendships, the camaraderie, or an environment where its “more than OK” to be your true self on the ballfield.
